HISTORY The Austin 7 was an economy car that was produced from 1922 until 1939 in the United Kingdom by Austin with 290,000 vehicles manufactured in including, saloons, tourers, and commercial vehicles. It was the first British vehicle to have the pedal layout that we know today of clutch, brake, accelerator. This model was built in 1934 has a 750cc engine, electric starter and four gears with synchromesh; an unknown luxury at the time for an economy car.
