HISTORY - The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was a replacement to the Silver Cloud and was the first monocoque chassis/body for the company. It was smaller than the Silver Cloud but through better design offered the same interior space and luxury. It was produced from 1965 to 1980 and overall had a production run of 30,000. I originally thought this was a Mk2 with the addition of a spoiler under the front bumper but an owner from Sussex disuaded me with inconsistencies so now I am not sure but will be hunting for a definitive Mk1 and a difinitive Mk 2 so there is no doubt
