HISTORY.
The Ford Zephyr was a large family saloon along with its upmarket variant the Zodiac was manufactured from 1950 to 1972. The Mark Two version was launched in 1956 and featured a 2553cc straight 6 cylinder engine with a top speed of 88mph with a fuel efficiency of 28mpg. It was hampered unfortunately by a very inefficient inlet and exhaust manifold that if changed could boost the top speed to over 100mph. The Mark three replaced it in 1962
